WALKS IN HISTORY The areas: The best way to explore Lefkosia within the Walls is on foot. Route 2: From Plateia Eleftherias (Square), walk towards the pedestrian streets of Lidras and Onasagorou. Turn right into Laiki Geitonia and walk through the nearby streets to visit the small churches and light a candle inside, or continue down Onasagorou to Plateia Faneromenis (Square). Route 1: Starting from Plateia Solomou (Square), head to Pyli Pafou (Pafos Gate) and visit the Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Kastelliotissa Hall, and the Fairytale Museum before walking along the Green Line.
